Coaching is the subject of a great deal of debate in organisations and the term covers a broad spectrum of services. Thompson Dunn’s Executive Leadership Coaching can be invaluable to individuals and business, aligning people’s personal aims with those of the business and helping clarify how people can most productively contribute to the organisation.
We are not business skills coaches. Our coaching focuses on supporting leaders to expand their knowledge and awareness of themselves, allowing them to deal with the challenges that they face. That is not to say the business context is ignored. On the contrary, we work with the challenges in front of leaders and bring to our coaching a wealth of organisational consulting experience and empathy with people-oriented business challenges.
Our coaching contracts are time specific and open access. They may be contracted in 6 or 12 month periods. During that time, the contracted client can arrange face-to-face consultation at out London office, arrange telecoms and communicate by email whenever they require it. Spontaneous telephone conversations with the coach are engaged in when available. We visit your offices to understand your corporate culture and the context in which you operate. Access to relevant Thompson Dunn workshops are also included with the contracted period.
Discussions are confidential in nature and this principle is rigorously upheld. Nevertheless, we will work with clients to include the input of their managers and reports if they feel comfortable to do so. Our observations and insight can be effectively integrated into existing company performance management systems.
