Charlotte graduated last year with a BSc (Hons) Psychology and Counselling degree from the University of Surrey. This year she has also completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Counselling Skills at City University. She is currently completing an MSc in Occupational and Organisational Psychology at the University of Surrey, and is working towards her Occupational Psychology Chartership.
During her time at Thompson Dunn, Charlotte has provided administrative support for personality and ability measures, and assisted with workshops and PR events. She has had work experience in various sectors, including translating, advertising and marketing, and personal finance. Charlotte particularly enjoys working collaboratively with organisations to help them identify their unique characteristics and needs to formulate their own solutions. By developing her understanding of an organisation’s vision, objectives and priorities, and combining it with her knowledge of human behaviour, she has been able to make recommendations that have helped to increase performance, productivity and job satisfaction.
Charlotte enjoys working voluntarily for the community and is presently involved in Kingston Borough Council Children Fund’s ‘Big Buddy’ project. This is a proactive one-to-one mentoring service which tackles disadvantage among children who are less likely to achieve good outcomes. The aim is to make a difference in their lives by helping them to reach their fullest potential and prevent more serious problems developing at a later stage.
