PAT THOMPSON - MANAGING DIRECTOR

Pat is the founder and Managing Director of Thompson Dunn Ltd.

An expert in the field of leadership assessment and development, she has over 30 years of international experience working with top level individuals, teams and organisations. Pat’s interests are in working with CEOs, organisational culture and creativity in business. Her experience is global in terms of the companies with which she works.

Pat’s business career began in recruitment working as a pioneering business psychologist for Michael Page and later Whitehead Mann, now Korn Ferry, in the audit and assessment of top level individuals and teams. She created Thompson Dunn in 1990 with the desire to focus on the long-term needs of corporate clients. Her career began in education where she became a senior psychologist for the Inner London Education Authority.

Pat has an honours degree in Psychology and Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Manchester University. She holds an Msc in Developmental Psychology from London University and later studied for an Msc in Organisational Consulting from Hult Ashridge Business School. She is a Chartered Psychologist, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a Founder Member of the BPS Special Group in Coaching Psychologists.

Richard CorrietTe - AKa ‘Chalks’ - Associate Consultant

We are pleased to have Chalks as our person in Belgium. His strategic location in our Brussels outpost serves as a bridge onto the European mainland. A former client during his time at DHL, he is also one of our many Decision Profile licensees, taking care of people and companies in Belgium.

Chalks has a colourful background that brings with it a wealth of experience, contributing to his strong mentoring abilities. He has an Associate Degree in Business and Communications, certifications in NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) and Identity (Open University). He also has a range of teaching qualifications from the RSA (royal society of arts) covering dance and aerobics, City & Guilds covering hotels and hospitality, Pricnce2 Project management, 20 years' experience within the Logistics and Transportation sectors.

Chalks has a passion for social enterprise, which he honed on initiatives of the World Economic Forum, Unicef, PTPI, IFRC and Scouting, and is the Founder of a small Brussels-based international school, ACE. He spends the majority of his time working with clients, mentoring younger team members, and dealing with WordPress, Branding and Marketing needs; all viewed through the lens of psychology and best practice of human preferences. Chalks considers his ADHD as his superpower that boosts his creativity and gifts him with an abundance of energy.

Leyla Varan Sartore - associate consultant

Leyla Varan Sartore completed her BSc in Psychology at City University London followed by an MSc degree in Organisational Behaviour at the London School of Economics. She worked part-time at Thompson Dunn Limited and then moved back to her native Istanbul to begin her career as a Consultant Psychologist.

She has experience in the Human Resources and Marketing functions in the Financial Technology sector, as well as consulting and training experience with multinational organisations. She continues to deliver training and consultancy to global companies, exploring how psychology informs the world of work.
